Your child could win big—don't miss this!
What if school wasn’t just about grades—but also about discovering what lights you up?
That’s the big idea behind “Passion Classes,” a special event recently held at a High School in Maine, where students spent the day diving into new hobbies—from nail art and fly fishing to meditation and escape room design.
The goal? To help kids explore interests they didn’t even know they had—and build stronger connections with peers and teachers along the way.
We loved seeing this initiative because it echoes something we believe deeply here at Raising Empowered Kids: passion starts with exposure. When kids are invited to try, to play, to create, and even to fail—they start to discover who they are and what they love.
That’s why this month, we’ve been digging into how passion is shaped not just by what kids do, but how they think, talk to themselves, and feel supported in being their full selves.
Whether at home or in the classroom, nurturing a child’s spark could be the beginning of a lifelong purpose.

Don’t miss this powerful chance to spark a real conversation with your child about who they are—and what they love.

I hope this reminded you just how powerful the little things can be—especially when you help a child feel seen, safe, and strong.
And speaking of strong starts… tomorrow April 21 is National Kindergarten Day! A huge shoutout to our very own Ms. Tammy and all the incredible kindergarten teachers out there. You’re the ones who spark curiosity, nurture early confidence, and help shape a child’s first love of learning. If you’re a kindergarten teacher, let us know in the REK Facebook Group—we’d love to celebrate you!
Next week, get ready for Harmony Hare’s big reveal! 🐰 You won’t want to miss how her adventure ties all of this together.
Until then, give your child a hug, play that song, notice their spark—and let it grow.
