This is the voice your child hears the most.

We’re usually the ones cheering on your parenting wins with fun, feel-good ideas.

But this week, let’s press pause because something serious is at stake.

Right now, kids are growing up in a world of noise.

Endless input. Pressure. Comparison.

And the one voice they hear the most — their own — is often the one they’ve been taught the least about.

We’ve heard self-talk framed as a mental health issue, when in fact it’s a mental health foundation.

The average person has over 6,000 thoughts a day, and most of them?

Come in the form of self-talk.

If we don’t teach kids how to understand that voice, or worse, if we ignore it altogether, it can shape their entire identity without them realizing it.

That’s what our co-founder Tammy Vallieres saw day after day in her classrooms.

After more than 25 years as a peace educator, with a background in psychology and a calling for emotional growth, Tammy’s worked with thousands of children, teachers, and parents. She’s coached youth leaders, trained educators, and brought her calming presence into some of the most overwhelmed school spaces.

But what changed everything?
Being in the classroom, face to face with kids trying to manage their thoughts, feelings, and friendships, without the language to guide them.

That’s when the idea hit her:
What if we could give self-talk a voice kids could actually hear, see, and understand?

That’s how Harmony Hare was born.

Harmony Hare and Her Three Voices is the beginning of a global movement to teach kids how to choose calm, courage, and compassion — one voice at a time.

This is the book we wish every child had on their shelf.
And now, it’s here — and the real adventure is just beginning.

Witness the Birth of a Movement

Fresh off her book launch and tour, Tammy will be speaking live to unveil Harmony Hare to the world — a character with a mission to bring emotional wellness into homes and classrooms across the globe.

She’ll also be sharing breakthrough strategies to help parents, teachers, and school systems guide students in transforming negative self-talk into superpowers through emotional intelligence, storytelling, and identity-building tools.

And she’s just one of the inspiring voices you’ll hear.

We invite you to the BetterYou International Summit on Special Education & Neurodiversity! A powerful gathering of educators, experts, and changemakers who are reimagining what’s possible for every learner.
